Manuka Honey For Heartburn?

So many people suffer with heartburn every day. I found a cure-all for my husband after reading and researching until my eyes bled. It was a combination of things, but one of the most helpful ingredients was Manuka Honey. Hard to believe, but true.

Within minutes of licking a teaspoon of Manuka Honey (and pretending its peanut butter), his heartburn disappears. Seriously though, he loves the taste of Manuka honey. I don’t. I like the flavor of raw organic honey much, much better.

It was and continues to be essential for weaning and keeping him off the nasty PPI drug that he took for over 20 years. A teaspoon in the morning, and a teaspoon in the evening. (Or, whenever heartburn reared its ugly head)

Note: Your jar of Manuka Honey should display at least +15 on the label (and New Zealand) to have healing qualities in it. Expensive? Kind of. Worth it? Definitely.
